So heres a video because my long essay posts are to hard to understand. So can we look at some facts then? And look at the video I posted before showing this is true in the builds we have seen of DBFZ. If a move counts as a fireball and not a beam currently you can cancel your block stun with a deflect or homing dash. We know that in this game just like guilty gear, your block stun carries over to when you are on the ground, making it so you cant be thrown etc, making chicken guard very powerful especially so in a game with out traditional mix up meta in the first place. So this is what im talking about in this video you can see even when you are in the air, you can land, and then alpha counter.[Ou para o exemplo, SuperDash/Reflect] Doesnt matter that you were blocking in the air and not the ground. So the idea is for characters like beerus who always have moves that count as regular fireballs(which we have seen people homing dash through his fireballs)its logical to assume, we can purposely jump into his fireballs, land and then become 'invincible' with out repercussions. Just mash on deflelct when we hit the ground. Doesnt matter that you cant deflect in the air, doesnt matter that you blocked in the air. It carries over to the ground when you land. And we have already seen proof that stun does in the current builds as well. Of course many other situations this could work in, but for characters like beerus as well it could potentially change him from being a rush down venom mix up character all over, to actually a keep away character instead because his gimmick will have a big counter to it that is not hard to do at all.
