  • Bem antes das dlc chars existirem o pior match up do Johnny era o Sin e por pior digo 5-5. Anyways no meu caso com o Faust 6p funciona bem vs o Raven nas situacções q disse devido a invencibilade upper body quase universal dos 6p mas o do Faust é godlike, se realmente n der tenta simplesmente P q pode ser q resulte, o do Faust n da q é lento e n é high o suficiente. O importante é teres algo q o tire do ar e pare a pressão, CH é sempre garantido por isso até q é 1 opção arriscada embora n pareca.

    Pois, com o 6P do slayer tb acho k paro flight na boa e com direito a full combo, mas isso é pk o 6P do slayer é godlike. O do johnny não tem inv dos joelhos p/ cima como o do slayer, é só upper body, e mesmo isso é só durante 4f, depois fica só do peito p/ cima.

    A minha melhor opção p/ parar flight deve ser 5S k tem bué range por isso posso fazer mais cedo, mas devo levar trade se reagir um pouco tarde d+.

    Eu sei, johnny até agr não tinha MU's negativos. E até pode continuar a não ter, mas se o MU for 5-5 já não é favorável e era isso k eu tava a dizer, mas por experiência própria eu sinto k é positivo p/ o raven. Mas posso ser eu a ser outplayed completamente, ainda não tenho experiência suficiente de xrd johnny p/ falar com grandes certezas nem explorei o suficiente o MU. É só initial feeling.

    Current thoughts on the patch:
    Dropped the game because I can't practice : /

    Quanto aos nerfs... we'll see how it composes itself. exageraram em algumas cenas, outras vieram do nada (tipo a mudança ao stance do raven..............................)

  • We'll see how this goes. Suspeito k até saber k isto veio p/ ficar, a minha vontade de treinar o jogo vai ser bastante nula.

    @Garuda tá giro esse combo, mas lvl3 p/ o knock down + 2 coins p/ o stagger + 50% tension + outra coin p/ combar.. In any case, dps ainda tenho de ver a cena, pk o stagger pareceu-me igual entre lvl1, 2 e 3. Se der p/ combar a partir de lvl1 MF stagger > RC a cena é potencialmente broken ^^'
  • Não vejo assim dramatismo para agora. Stagger dá free combo ainda assim, o mundo não vai acabar. Vai obrigar a ter outro tipo de combos após o stagger. Nessa situação, se o johnny fosse para mist finer com o slash tinha conseguido o juggle não?

    Yeah, after a day of sleep, everything is pretty much the same for her, except more... fair. I still think they overdid the hurtbox nerfs, but i guess I just have to live with that. Her S buttons will basically never clash with anything EVER again.
    The nerf to grenade self-explosion was justified, since it came along with the buff of being able to block it, but now people can capitalize on fuck-ups better, since she pops up pretty high for a follow-up

    Another thing is that apparently she can now do 2D jc combos on Sol.

  • The didn't over do anything, this isn't Persona where weapons don't have hurtboxes imao

    2D jc j.S is only midscreen on Sol and you gotta be pretty close.

    The being able to block the explosion thing is pretty big imo because now you don't have to like, try and get rid of it every time you have one so you don't give the opponent a free knockdown/combo/setup/death.

    SG-S becoming 0 on block was prolly the worst nerf so that isn't saying much.

    Still top but Zato and Millia are slightly better than everyone else imo

    If this were true, which it isn't, the concept of a clash combo video wouldn't exist. Right now all of elphs S hitboxes (and 6H) have an equally as big or larger hurtbox.

    I don't even wanna look at Raven's 2HS hurtbox or I'll probably cry.

    Anyway, I do tend to agree they overdid it, especially on Sin. And even Johnny, after losing his unblockables he didn't need to get his meter gain and damage nerfed so hard.

    But despite it all, I do believe these nerfs will be healthy for the characters themselves (except maybe for Sin.. without something to balance his extremely nerfed gameplan, I honestly don't know what he's supposed to do now). My gripe with this patch is: why the hell would Zato and Millia, and even Sol and Faust remain untouched when every other top char was nerfed to hell and back? -_-''

    @pokemonblaze234 lastly, it clearly doesn't come from a place of wanting to "homogenize how normals work and not be persona". Very clearly. Otherwise, they would have changed this fucking abomination.



    Hitboxes are whatever they want them to be. THere's no universal "logic" governing how they should work, except for the concept of "utility". "What is this move for?"
    And if it's a poke, as f.S and 2S are, then generally, they will have more Hitbox than hurtbox, rather than the other way around.

  • As animações da dizzy estão top notch. Os gajos têm efectivamente uma equipa brutal.

    Other than that, não percebo a ponta do que é suposto fazer com a gaja mas parece ser irritante a personagem.

    das melhores coisas deste patch foi terem arranjado hurtboxes de muitas chars. nao sei se ficou tudo mas e um bom começo.

    a verdade e que o sin a el e o johhny precisavam de nerfs.
    Vamos ser realistas muito bom dano, demasido meter gain, e muito reward on KD especificamente os casos dos UB's aqui. mas i think they went a bit too far.

    o sin podia ter zato pressure no sentido que em ficam ali um bom bocado a bloquear mas longe de tar ali a mandar high e lows e cmd como o zato, e a pressao dele maioria era a volta de elk e beak porque eram safe. also com aqueles 10 frame extra de recovery no beak neutral got harder e era uma boa tool para lidar com MU's que tinha projeteis ou mater controlo no mid range, ou etc notei bastantas dificuldades em especial quando tava a jogar com o ky do shadon ontem. also com elk a +0 (ou-1) pressure string usually end there, sempre posso ir para beak mas teria de cancelar hop para ficar safe e acho que essa agora ta a ser a minha maior dificuldade a pressao e de certa forma o neutral.


    ate tou admirado de so terem nerfado o sg-s da el, tirando dmg nerfs ao resto e maior window de punish no role. nao sei dizer qual dos 3 ficou pior por agora, ja vi varias pessoas a dizer um pouco de tudo.

    concordo com o que disseste skryba de isto ser saudavel para as personagens e acho que de certa forma ira ser, por outro lado... veremos em certos mus.
    e isto e talvez o que mais me faz confusao, Zato, Millia, Sol and Faust. aumentaram a hurtbox na milia e zato oq ue e muito bom e dois nerfzinhos em dois specials da millia and that was it. hum... faust got buffs actually. ok. pachi's cock being sucked for these 4 chars? hum.... :^)

    also venom got some really nice stuff too, he deserved it. mas pronto no meio disto tudo e bom ver patches e espero que continuem com isto. mas o pachi odeia-nos a todos anyways :^))))))))

    quanto a dizzy, my GOD she looks 11254345/10 animações muito fixe. also kick ass theme
